The Aware app from 29k is my new favorite free meditation app. 29k is a non-profit that “makes evidence-based psychological tools both scalable, lovable, and free.”

Insight Timer is also a good, free app. It allows you to set up “groups” where there can be shared meditation sessions and discussions.
